According to the recommendations of High Level Group (HLG) of the European Commission about the use of the UHF Band 470-790 MHz, the allocation of sub-bands in the frequency range 698-791 MHz makes it possible to extend the functionalities of the TETRA/TETRAPOL based critical networks to those of high data rate network LTE or to make both of the technologies co-locating in two bands 380-470 MHz and 698-791 MHz.

Diversity techniques based on multi-antenna system require the use of dual-band combiners for both uplink and downlink paths. MCR TELECOMMUNICATION provides a two-way combiner with DC feedthrough CCW24081 that is recommended for a use with base station antennas MV14913 or MPX47090 to get a safe dual band operation. A single combiner is required to acheive MIMOx2 diversity using cross polarization antenna.
