Typical Application

The selective channel power repeater RT90214S is designed to multiband TDMA/TETRA/GSM/GSM-R network coverage. It is a cost-effective way to extend the BTS coverage while maintaining the signal quality. It consists of two or three stages linear amplifier for both uplink and downlink. Automatic controlled gain amplifier provides high dynamic input power. Channel frequency is tuned according to the synthesizer frequency control. It incorporates a lightning protection, output power and antenna VSWR monitoring.
The repeater's I/O control data is locally accessed via a RS232 and USB interface and in remote mode via IP/Ethernet interface. Optional wireless modem is used when the repeater operates as a standalone equipment.
The repeater handles up to 4 physical channels related to the operating frequency sub-bands. The repeater is available with a single physical channel design.
