Typical Application

The repeater MDOR710822LH is a digital optical repeater based on a DSP board providing a low noise, low distorsion multi narrow band system coverage through optical fiber. It handles up to 32 remote units providing a very wide coverage in Distributed Cell Architecture suitable for long tunnels and large buildings.
The master unit is composed of a 3U height unit mounted in a 19 inches rack and a set of 3U height optical transceiver modules. Each unit operates in specific bands within the frequency ranges 698-960 and 1700-2700 MHz which gives a cost-effective high network expansion capabilities. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and is available in three output power options.
The repeater supports both narrow band and broadband systems which may coexists in the same module while UL/DL are combined to feed the WDM optical transceiver over a single mode fiber.
The repeater provides high linearity, low noise, low signal distorison and high output power.
A control unit provides control and monitoring of the repeaters in operation over a secure HTTP server using "PromusLink" software. Control and monitoring I/O parameters are spread along a GPRS modem. Optical fiber and IP/Ethernet interface are backup support to access the remote units.
